X-Golf and Hey Caddy Palmerston were the first of our big launches this end of year period.
When it comes to venue launches, the Palmerston launch was almost as good as it gets. From the moment we opened our doors, we’ve been on cloud nine witnessing the warm welcome from the community. The people from the Greater Darwin area, with their unique culture and love for golf and entertainment, have made us feel right at home.
When we launch a new venue, we don’t think in terms of just being there to offer an indoor golfing experience; we plan to become an integral part of the local culture, entertainment industry and golf community.
The unique thing about the golf community that we’ve found over the years, the thing that sets it apart from other communities, is that there aren’t as many places for golfers to gather and connect. Sure, there are golf clubs and competitions, but there’s a level of exclusivity and physical distance that can make it difficult. Whenever we open an X-Golf (and with it, sometimes, a Hey Caddy), a big part of our goal is to provide that space. We can already see the community coming together in X-Golf Palmerston, in just a few weeks.
The first few weeks have been a whirlwind of new faces, events, and of course, plenty of swings and putts. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many fantastic people who we hope become not just customers but part of the X-Golf and Hey Caddy family. It’s been a blast hitting the sims and playing mini-putt with everyone that’s come in to have a look so far. The energy and enthusiasm from the locals have really made every visit memorable.
Turning a venue from an idea into a fully functioning entertainment venue is no short order.
None of it would have been possible without the incredible team, both on the front line and behind the scenes, that brought the vision to life.
The architects, builders and designers who transformed X-Golf and Hey Caddy Palmerston our dream into a physical reality did such an amazing job and worked tirelessly to make it happen.
A massive shout-out should also go out to our exceptional staff who’ve become the cornerstone of the venue. Their passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment, as well as their commitment to delivering top-notch service has been the driving force behind our success.
To the Larrakia people, thank you for welcoming us onto your land. We’re honored to be a part of this community and look forward to building lasting connections.
Looking forward, we hope all our future venue launches go as smoothly as this one. We’re excited to meet even more golfers (mini or otherwise!) from the Greater Darwin area who are up for some indoor golf and mini-putt, pints and cocktails, and good times all round.
