X-Golf has proudly supported a series of key moments across the Australian women’s golf calendar this March, alongside the Women’s Australian Open and WPGA Tour Championship.
WOMEN’S AUSTRALIAN OPEN, SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Golf Australia’s new Connecting Women in Golf initiative kicked off with a bang this month, with a lunch event held at Kooyonga Golf Club in Adelaide bringing together women from across the golf industry to connect and share perspectives on the future of the game.
A key part of Women’s Australian Open week, X-Golf West Lakes extended the festivities by hosting a Minerva Network event in partnership with Golf Australia, welcoming 50 invited guests for an evening of networking and engagement. Attendees included Olympians and Paralympians, WPGA Tour players, female PGA Professionals and members of Golf Australia’s leadership team.
We were thrilled to host guest speaker Karen Lunn, CEO of the WPGA Tour of Australasia, with conversations centred on leadership, career progression and wellbeing within elite sport. Guests had exclusive use of West Lakes vibrant venue, with access to simulators alongside food and drinks in a relaxed, social setting.

WPGA TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP, QUEENSLAND
In Queensland, Golf Australia’s program continued during the week of the WPGA Tour Championship at the Gold Coast, with a Connecting Women in Golf breakfast event held at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, bringing together women from across the industry for a morning focused on career progression, wellbeing and connection in the lead-up to tournament play.
Building on this, X-Golf South Bank hosted a Minerva Network event during the same week, providing an additional opportunity for athletes and industry representatives to connect in a more informal, interactive X-Golf environment.
Together, these events reflect a broader industry focus on strengthening connection, leadership and opportunity for women in golf, both on and off the course, and as a signatory to the R&A Women in Golf Charter, it’s one X-Golf is proud to be part of.
X-Golf Head of Brand and Innovation Amy Puglisi attended each of the Connecting Women in Golf events and said the future of golf depends on strong leadership and inclusive pathways across the industry.
“Creating opportunities for connection plays an important role in supporting growth for women in the sport,” she said.
“We’re proud that X-Golf venues can provide a welcoming environment for those conversations to happen.”
Together, these events ensure that the important conversations extend beyond the fairways, focusing on the people, opportunities and leadership shaping the future of the sport.
Stay tuned for news of more exciting female-led collaborations, coming from X-Golf Group soon.
