This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the special bonds that grow when families come together over a shared passion for golf.
For Daniel Thomas and his eight-year-old daughter Aleiah, golf has become more than just a sport – it’s a way to connect, laugh and create memories that will last a lifetime.
From casual Sunday swings to friendly competitions on X-Golf’s state-of-the-art simulators, their journey highlights how the game can bridge generations, celebrate different abilities and bring families closer in a fun, supportive environment.
What began as casual Sunday rounds with Aleiah hitting a ball or two while her dad played, has blossomed into a shared passion.
These days, you’ll find Aleiah taking lessons and documenting all the action across her social media @aleiahjgolf to track her golfing adventures.
Together, the pair frequent X-Golf Rockingham and X-Golf Nedlands in Western Australia, where the fun, supportive environment has helped Aleiah’s confidence soar.
For Daniel, who has played golf for 20 years and even won the World Amateur Match Race Championship in 2023, X-Golf offers something different – a place where skills, ages and abilities are levelled out, making it possible for players like Aleiah to shine.
“X-Golf allows her to move tees closer, adjust settings and play without pressure,” Daniel said.
“She can grow, make mistakes and just enjoy the game in her own way.”
That freedom has already translated into big milestones.
Recently, Aleiah was invited to join Royal Fremantle Golf Club – home to golf stars Min Woo and Minjee Lee – as a junior member. Daniel says the confidence she’s built at X-Golf has been instrumental in reaching this point.

But it’s not just about progress on the scorecard.
For Daniel, the most memorable moments are the little ones: sharing food and a laugh in between games, playful trash talk when Aleiah takes on an X-Golf pro, or the hugs and thank-yous she offers mid-round.
“As a father, I honestly cherish every single moment,” he said.
“To see her feel confidence and belief in herself is heart-warming every time.”
X-Golf has become a bridge for this father-daughter duo, connecting them not only through golf but also through shared experiences, laughter and a sense of belonging.
It’s this mix of cutting-edge technology, inclusivity and community spirit that makes X-Golf more than just a game – it’s a place where culture and connection thrive.
This Father’s Day, Daniel and Aleiah’s story shines as a reminder of what makes X-Golf unique: golf for everyone and memories for life.
With the world’s most realistic simulators, entertaining games for all skill levels and the freedom to play at your own pace, kids and adults alike can laugh, compete and grow together.
