This year’s 2025 NSW Golf Industry Awards are now on and X-Golf Penrith is among a lineup of standout venues named as some of the best places to play in the state.
Officially a finalist for the Facility of the Year award, this recognition is a testament to the team’s dedication, innovation and commitment to growing the game of golf across Sydney’s western suburbs.
At X-Golf Group, franchises thrive on creating a golf experience that blends the world’s most realistic simulator technology with expert coaching, exciting competition formats and a vibrant social atmosphere, and X-Golf Penrith is certainly leading the fore.
As the first indoor simulator venue in Australia to employ a PGA Trainee Professional, Mikayla Edwards, X-Golf Penrith is passionate about ensuring expert guidance is available to all players, reinforcing the group’s commitment to both skill development and enjoyment across golf’s new age. Overall, X-Golf is working to redefine what the sport looks like, making it much more accessible, enjoyable and engaging for everyone.
X-Golf Penrith franchisee Matt Newton said, “We’re really proud to be recognised as a finalist for Facility of the Year. This award is a reflection of our team’s passion for creating a golf experience that’s not only innovative, but also inclusive and fun for everyone who steps through the door.”
“We’re seeing golf go a different way for the better and we’re really excited to be a part of that,” Matt said.
The NSW Golf Industry Awards ceremony will take place on Monday, 27 October 2025 at the Shangri-La Sydney. You can find more details about the awards here.
Penrith’s achievement is one of four award finalist announcements across X-Golf Group this year, with two exciting wins for the Best in Hospitality Customer Service (X-Golf Geelong) and Golf Australia’s National Awards of Excellence as the Most Outstanding Club, Facility or Place to Play Outdoors (X-Golf Palmerston).
From everyone at X-Golf Group, way to go team and good luck X-Golf Penrith!
