In a remarkable show of community spirit and dedication, the X-Golf network’s fundraising campaign for the Starlight Swing this past November and December has raised $21,518 – enough to grant two Starlight wishes with over $6,000 to spare.
Driven by a motivated and purpose-led effort from X-Golf venues across Australia, the campaign captured major media attention and earned widespread public acknowledgement, underscoring X-Golf’s commitment to meaningful community contribution.
The X-Golf Penrith team showed their steadfast dedication to the cause, leading the charge the second consecutive year, raising nearly $11,000, followed by X-Golf Geelong with just over $2,000 and X-Golf Rockingham close behind.
Other teams across the network contributed through local events and in-house donations, ensuring the fundraiser maintained momentum throughout the busy holiday season.
X-Golf Tournament Manager Peter Nolan praised the collective effort of the network’s team members and patrons, emphasising the heart behind the hours of fundraising.
“Our teams didn’t just raise funds – they rallied their local communities with enthusiasm and generosity,” Peter said.
“This is our second year of the Starlight Swing and what a year it was.”
“The network surpassed our first year of fundraising in a big way and what we achieved together reflects the true spirit of the community we’ve cultivated at X-Golf, and nothing beats that,” he said.
Word of the fundraiser penetrated media far and wide, with Code Sports, Daily Telegraph, Seven News, SEN Radio and Golf Australia helping to spread the word.
X-Golf Penrith owner Matt Newton went in full speed, committing to and achieving a new Guinness World Record for the most holes hit within 24 hours. Matt’s efforts saw 810 holes hit in just 20 hours. Behind him, the entire Penrith community rallied with donations and sponsorship to help the western Sydney team smash the top spot for the most donations received.

Fundraising for the Starlight Swing helps seriously ill kids have moments of fun and escape from hospital life.
Money raised goes toward things like installing swings and play equipment in hospitals, creating spaces where children can laugh, move around and just be kids even while undergoing treatment.
It also funds activities and experiences that bring excitement and joy into their daily routines, helping lift spirits during long hospital stays.
On a smaller scale, funds also support practical programs that make life a little easier for families.
This includes providing entertainment in hospital rooms, access to gaming or creative activities, and small experiences that give kids something to look forward to.
These contributions help children forget the stress of treatment for a while and create memories that bring comfort and positivity to both the children and their families.

The success of the 2025 Starlight Swing aligns with X-Golf’s broader brand ethos of fostering community, inclusivity and active involvement beyond the tee.
While known for premium indoor golf experiences and technology-driven entertainment, the network’s philanthropic achievements reflect a deeper commitment to community wellbeing.
By directing energy, creativity and generosity toward a cause that supports Aussie children and families, X-Golf has demonstrated that its influence extends well beyond the golf simulator.
As celebrations continue, the message from X-Golf leaders is clear: when passion meets purpose, even the loftiest goals are well within reach.
We’d like to extend a massive thank you to the X-Golf Group network and partners for working together to achieve this outstanding outcome. We can’t wait to see what the next Starlight Swing brings!
